Wedding Cakes...

My double award winning fruit cake is made from an old family recipe using only the finest quality ingredients. It is covered with the best quality marzipan and then coated in either Royal icing or Regalice for a beautiful finish.

The cakes are then decorated with your chosen design and complemented with exquisite hand made sugar flowers if desired.

Different flavoured sponge cakes are very popular combined with the fruit cakes or on their own and they can be covered in the above icings.

For exotic destinations 'Far Away Cakes'

Weddings abroad are so popular that I have developed a range of cakes that are small enough to carry as hand luggage on an aircraft. Not all designs are good for this and humidity has to be borne in mind. Exotic and colourful flowers can be used to complement the event.

Not all my cakes are decorated with flowers - some have models on - some have shapes on wires. Sugarcraft shops now have a large range of very different styles of Brides and Grooms for the top of your cake, if that is your preference.

The exquisite sugar flowers can be made in any variety, colour and size and would be designed to complement your cake in the best way possible.

Chocolate cakes are now very popular as wedding cakes, they can be coated in three different ways and decorated with texture, pattern, edible gold, slabs & curls, the variety is almost endless.

The latest trend is for small, individual cakes which I do in five different finishes with several decorative touches to choose from and two types of stand on which to display them.

Although I specialise in stacked cakes there are many ways of displaying them and I have many creative ideas to choose from.
